Danny Way was a part of the OP King of Skate contest where he was given a certain amount of money to build or come up with a structure and then skate it. Danny contacted us and told us what he wanted to build. He wanted a long jump or "mega" ramp that landed into a huge quarter pipe. We came out and built the ramp for him, and he launched the 65 ft. gap and then proceeded into an 18'3" air on the quarter pipe. This Mega ramp paved the way for future long jump ramps that are now featured in the X-Games.
