Our Pueblo, Colorado project is moving along and the park is really starting to take shape. Notice the light green tile in the bowl, the use of this color is a first for us here at Team Pain and we couldn’t think of any better park to introduce it to. The tile really pops and brings a vibrancy to the bowl, contrasting with the clay colored plains of Pueblo. Complete with multiple bowls and a street course this park is already shaping up to a another Colorado Gem!
Check out this weeks progress on our Apex, North Carolina park project! We’re only on day four and couldn’t be more excited to be breaking ground in Apex! Here’s a few construction shots of the bowl! Check back soon for more updates!
For the first time in the history of Skate Park of Tampa this year’s after party took place in the newly Team Pain constructed courtyard. “Pros” and “Joes” alike put on an epic show this past weekend during the Tampa Pro 2015: “Converse Concrete Jam”. Amongst the immense crowds, killer tunes raged, as live performances by Destructonomicon/Psycho 78 and “Patman and Robin” entertained the crowds rallying a lively mosh pit, exciting the young and old alike embracing the true nature of skateboard culture.
With our latest additions, including the reconstruction of SPoT’s indoor street course and the heavily skated courtyard which features an array of concrete transitions, a key hole, and a few pump humps that make gaining speed an easy task. Skaters truly have the chance to showcase their skills on all terrains. We’re stoked to hear all the positive feed back from the participants involved and to have had the opportunity to make all this a reality. Check out the photos below courtesy of Skate Park of Tampa .
Before the Grand Opening of the Zephyrhills Skate Park tomorrow, we thought we would tempt anyone that’s attending by giving a little Quality Control teaser. Every skate park we build goes through a stringent quality control process during construction by the Team Pain crew to ensure every inch of the park is up to the quality standards inherent of a custom designed and built skate park. This park may not be large but it packs a punch and is a super fun place to skate! Check out these shots and go skate!!
We recently made a phenomenal addition to the courtyard at Skatepark Of Tampa. It was completed just before Tampa AM, and the Nike SB team decided to break it in with a jaw dropping demo. Below is the footage from the demo, and the photos of the exciting DIY style build that we did.
Looks like it is getting down to the wire in Zephyrhills, Florida. This past weekend marked another historic event at Skatepark Of Tampa. This Tampa AM will go down in history as not only an amazing contest, but also the first year with the new concrete courtyard. We knew it was going to get crazy, but I don’t think anybody was expecting such a high caliber of ripping.
If you happened to miss any of the action from over the weekend, you can watch the videos below for the complete coverage provided by The Ride Channel.
The new skate park in Zephyrhills, Florida is quickly becoming a well-rounded visual treat. The China-Bank has a hip going in the middle of it that adds dozens of options, and a manhole volcano on the corner that is equally as awesome. The bowl is ready to go, and the colored concrete on the flat bottom matches the tiles and makes this bowl almost as exciting to look at as it is to skate. If you look closely, you will notice that the flat bar on top of the bank is actually made of a piece of an actual railroad track. With the train running directly across the street from the park, this rail-road themed flat bar makes this skate park feel right at home here in Zephyrhills.
As you can see here, the bowl is on its way to being finished and the street course is starting to take shape. You can already start to see some hips, rails, China Banks and quarter pipes coming to life. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the latest updates
