Our friend, Benjamin Maher, has been advocating for a free public concrete skatepark in Chatham County, Georgia since 2004… As of today Ben and his colleagues have managed to raise $200,000 for the skate park project through various fundraisers! The skatepark has been approved, permitted and designed and they are on their way to make this park a reality! They have a gofundme.com page where they have raised another $1,580 but are still pushing to meet their $100,000 goal. If you would like to make a tax deductible contribution to help in their final efforts, any amount of money would outrageously help the long awaited skatepark in Savannah, Georgia.
