We are excited to announce that we broke ground in Tallahassee today ! The skate park will be situated along FAMU Way, just west of Pinellas Street. The size and shape of the Skateable Art Park is unique as it will include the longest snake run element in Florida – stretching roughly 225 feet. The park will also feature a larger than life center piece: an orange and green rattlesnake that pays homage to the neighboring FAMU Rattlers! With over nine main obstacles that double as iconic art, this new skate part, conveniently located between both universities and easily accessed from Southside neighborhoods and schools, park will have something for skaters/riders of every age and ability.
