Just north of Sacramento, in the town of Rocklin CA, is where our wood crew has been working hard, building one of our biggest indoor wood skate parks to date. EPIC Skate Park is definitely something worth traveling to if you are not lucky enough to live nearby. This park is a real masterpiece, with a huge street course featuring some very unique designs and incorporating both wood and rock hard concrete elements that really add that genuine “street” feel which every street skater thrives on. With 40,000 square feet to work with, we had the opportunity to also build a super wide mini ramp with multiple extensions and a wood bowl with an amazing design featuring multiple round wall pockets, seamless escalators, a transition to banked wall extension and a round roll in. The entire park is layered with top quality Birch Wood that really makes the park look nice and bright! Without a doubt, you need to add EPIC Skate Park to your list of travels in 09.
