Tampa Pro is one of the biggest professional contests in the business and we’ve been designing and constructing their courses for the past decade. It’s an occasion to witness an unbelievable level of skateboarding and a meeting ground for professional skateboarders all over the world to showcase their abilities and compete to be the Tampa Pro champion taking home the $20,000 in cash and earning the coveted title.
This year was one to remember, Luan Oliveira took 1st place beating out a heavy hitting group of finalists, which included crowd favorites such as Shane O’neill, Ishod Wair, and Nyjah Huston. During the Independent Best Trick, Ryan Decenzo took 1st place followed by Florida native Timmy Knuth placing 2nd , and Kelvin Hoefler taking the bronze at 3rd place. It’s challenging to describe in detail all the epicness that went down throughout the weekend so luckily we have the benefit of these epic photos below courtesy of Skatepark of Tampa .
