From the planning stage, the city’s Project Manager, Curt Cheesman, really wanted a skate park that set his community apart and engage the users with a unique experience. Various types of granite, marble, and boulders were introduced throughout the park to engage every discipline of skater, whether transition or street skater. There is an advanced bowl, an intermediate bowl, a unique hybrid snake run/ditch, which is fun for both disciplines, a beginner bowl, perfect for the little guys and of course a street section. We used the perimeter of the entire park to allow for a path that offers so many elements fancied by street skate aficionados. This is truly a wonderful and engaging facility.
