We spent this years Go Skateboarding Day in New York and it was so rad! Nike hosted an all day event through the city but that wasn’t the only conceptually diverse aspect of the days plannings… Nike contacted us with an idea, to somehow contribute some of the city’s most legendary spots into the design. Originally the project was supposed to take about twelve days, but considering the overcast and having to completely put a stop to working on some days, it took a little under three weeks. However, what made this project so incomparable was the fact that it was built on a barge and was shipped from New Jersey to the west side of New York. In Nike’s words the project was a, “Shipment of Skateboarding History” and we’re so stoked Team Pain was able be apart of what is said to be one of the greatest go skateboarding days in history! Scroll down and check out a video and some photo’s of the barge.
